SolidSlime Quest 2 adapter changelog: 1.9, 2.0
Hi all,
I’m happy to announce some changes introduced in the recent versions of SolidSlime Quest 2 adapter, in version v1.9 and v2.0.
As always, the version can be found at the bottom of the handle.
Below you can find the latest paddle position code for all my adapters. In the next update of Eleven Table Tennis, they will officially be included as presets that can be chosen from a list.
Before going into the details, I’d like to express my gratitude to the players who gave me valuable suggestions and feedback. These improvement won’t happen without you. Thank you!
v1.9
v1.9 is a big list of quality of life improvement.
I ticked as many boxes as I could from the todo list, before moving on to v2.0.
All v1.X versions share the same paddle position code 4008.25
. (This one is more accurate than the old 4008.17)
- Changed the shape of the blade so people with bigger hands have more space to press their index finger (thanks JensME).
- Rounded the corners in many places to make the hand feel more comfortable, especially for people that have a deep grip (thanks PPTim and others).
- Now the index finger will not press on the line where the two parts meet again (thanks kwak).
- There are some flat surfaces on the top of the adapter, which can be used to glue/tape lead tapes etc. if you would like the racket to be more head heavy. (Please make sure the weights are secured!) (Thanks PPTim)
- Changed the shape of some critical parts to make it muuuuuch easier to insert the controller into the correct location, without hampering the solidness of the racket.
- Changed screw locations so both screws are entirely hidden from view now.
v2.0
- Changed adapter orientation in order to give more room to the tip of the thumb finger. Theoretically this has the benefit of improving the FH tracking further more too, because the right side of the ring (in the picture below) will be more visible to the camera during a FH stroke. (Thanks Sulik)
Since the controller position has changed, there is a new paddle position cloud code for v2.0:4008.26

v1.8
- Drastically improved printing quality on large surfaces.
- Changed the surface shape between “top” and “body”, to eliminate the theoretic possibility of them shifting perpendicular to the blade surface.

SolidSlime Quest 2 adapter version changelog: 1.3~1.7
v1.3
- Minor changes to make production easier.
v1.4
- Added anatomic handle shape per request of Aiphaton.
Inspiration is taken from Sanlaki’s anatomic handle.
v1.5
- Added versions where specific places of the blade are lowered, so rubber can be attached without making the adapter too thick.
v1.6
- Remodeled CPen (Chinese Penhold) handle so the “shoulders” now follow FocusGUAN’s TimoBoll Spirit CS blade.
While looking at the FH side, the right shoulder is rounded more than the left side. Real life CPen players often use sandpaper to create this effect, to make the grip more comfortable. - “Shoulder” of CPen handle is printed with 100% infill, so it can be sanded down according to user preference.
- Rotated screws towards the center line of the adapter more, so they don’t pose a potential safety risk.
- Made the top part wider to strengthen it.
v1.7
- Shrank left wing (while a right handed player is doing a FH loop), in an attempt to make the ring even more visible during FH loop.

What makes a good adapter?
- Incredible tracking quality. No tracking dead corner as you can see in the tracking demo video.
- Realistically weighted and customizable. 168g if using a controller that has battery cap removed and AAA battery being used.
- If you have a real life racket, tell me its weight and I’ll be able to print an adapter to match it as closely as possible.
- Fantastic balance. Center of weight is lower than most of the other adapters. Feels just like holding a real racket. Since the weight is already quite low, there’s room for adding extra lead strips / rubber / grip tape to adjust the weight / balance even more.
- No shakiness. Designed using a precise 3d scanned model of controller, and tightened by bolts+nuts.
- Various handle shapes to choose from. Currently there are FL, ST, AN, CPen. Designed according to renowned Butterfly blades.
- Works for both shakehand and penhold grip.
- Easy battery change. No need to disassemble.
